One of the major reasons I wanted to start a blog is because I love reading other blogs. I don't know why because in general, I don't really like to read. But when I do read, I prefer real life stories. And I guess that's all a blog really is, a real life story. I would like to introduce you to some of my favorite real life stories, aka blogs.
Today I will tell you about the blog, The Complete Guide to Imperfect Homemaking.
I do not know why I like this blog because I have nothing in common with this woman when it comes to our daily lives. She lives in Canada, I live in South Texas. She has 6 children, I have 1 on the way. She seems very patient and positive, I believe I am very impatient and a pessimist. She seems to be very organized, I would love to be very organized.
Anyways, her blog is full of random information and neat ideas. Anything from simple and do-able recipes to ideas on how to make a blog or decorate a house. She has this great tutorial/series on 31 days to an organized home. Click here to read it. I found this on Pinterest one day which led to the discovery her blog.
Her name is Kelly, the lady who writes this blog. Sorry I am just now telling you this. She has recently started a second blog called The Year of Less. I am VERY excited about this blog. I would love to start this in my near future, but not today. It takes dedication, and I currently cannot commit. I will write more about this blog in another post at another time. :)
I have a feeling that most of you that read my blog probably won't like this blog. Either because you are already doing what she is doing, you've done what she's done, or you have absolutely no desire to ever do what she does. But maybe you will like the blogs that tell you about later. All the blogs that I read are very different! But currently this is one of my faves because Kelly writes about things that interest me right now.
Hope you are all having fun reading my blog. It is currently not what I wanted it to be, I planned on writing much more interesting posts about my life and my homestead. But I am busy. I am really looking forward to the time that I can really "beef up" my blog.
Love y'all,
Mel
